Year 10 Mock Interview Day

The students were really enthusiastic and well prepared, despite their initial nerves, and gave some very insightful answers to tough questions.

The team from HSBC were fantastic. They were very vocal about how impressed they were with the school and the students. Some lived in the local area and were very surprised by what they saw here today.   

Some of the comments from the HSBC team:

  • Students were wonderful and mature, some gave answers that would have got them a real job!
  • Students were confident and talked about their futures with a clear vision.
  • Students talked about a wide range of interests that were supported at school – a real sense that drama, music and academic interests are catered for.
  • One volunteer, who had researched the school and the OFSTED report, was very complementary and expressed how surprised he was about the perfect student behaviour he saw today.
  • All were surprised with the facilities on offer (and the school dinners!)

It was lovely to hear how impressed they were with the school – year 10 represented the Academy extremely well.
