Entry Requirements
At Harris Academy St John's Wood, we offer a wide range of subjects designed to suit diverse interests and career goals. General requirements
All students wishing to join our Sixth Form, must achieve the following below:
Grade 5 in GCSE Maths
Grade 5 in GCSE English Language
5 GCSEs in total at a Grade 5
Subject specific requirements
All students are required to study three courses (A Level/BTEC). Exceptional pupils, with a GCSE Grade average of an 8, may elect to study a fourth course.
GCSE Maths and English Language Retakes
At our Sixth Form, students who have already achieved a Grade 5 or above in English Language or Maths are eligible to retake these exams only if they wish to improve their current grade. This opportunity is ideal for students aiming for better university choices, where higher grades in these core subjects may strengthen their applications.
