Westminster Boys Athletics

On Wednesday 2 May 2018 35 boys competed at the annual Westminster Boys Athletics championships, with some very good results!

 

Santiago A5 won the 1500 and placed a very close 2nd in the 800m. As a result he has now progressed to the next level and will represent Westminster.

 

Ahmed A9 won the Year 7 hurdles race and has also progressed to the next round. Also representing Westminster.

 

The Year 7 boys 4 x 100m relay team won silver in a very close battle between the top boys school.

 

Omar E1 was placed 3rd in the boys Javelin just missing out on a spot in the next round.

 

Other results:  Dean R6 placed a very close 4th in the 100 and 200m finals behind a very good field, while Lucas A8 was also 4th in the 800m and Farhan E2 placed 4th as well.

 

Some very promising boys ahead of the Harris trials.
