Basketball - U14 Boys & Girls Westminster Borough Tournament
Wednesday 28th November ASL hosted the annual Westminster borough tournament.
Harris St John's Wood had entered our U14 Boys & Girls teams to compete.
U14 girls were undefeated all the way up to the finals.
Game 1 vs ASL B team Harris wins 10-6
Game 2 vs Southbank school Harris wins 2-0 Mia scoring the only basket
Game 3 vs South bank School Harris wins 12-2
Finals vs ASL A team Harris lost 4-16
Tasia was our Most Valuable player she was outstanding in every game using her height to her averaged and dominated
Honourable mention goes to Hawa, Mia & Ameila who are in year 7 playing against year 9s and were able to keep up with the game which is a good sign for the future of the girls basketball team.
U14 boys only playing with 3 year 9s and the rest of the team are in year 8 going to the tournament as one of the youngest teams. Reaching the finals is an amazing achievement.

Game 3 vs St George's school Harris wins 14-13 Idouw scored the game winning free throw
Finals vs ASL A team Harris lost 4-18
Amour was voted tournament MVP which was well deserved he was a great leader for his team and got them to the finals
Honourable mention goes to Ali, Younis, Afonso, John, Salahdin, Tayo, Jamal & Alyas who are all in Year 8 and had massive impact throughout the tournament.
Well done to both teams they represented Harris St John's Wood well.
