Wallace Collection
On Saturday 16h February Elmo delighted the public with his adept analysis of the Tudor portrait of the First Earl of Leicester, Robert Dudley in the sumptuous surroundings of the Wallace Collection.
Thanks to Elmo, we were appreciating the times when it was painted, we admired his sword, and examined real Tudor swords and daggers, scrutinised a Sumurai sword, and then spent time gazing at a large and beautiful Canaletto painting of Venice.
Elmo demonstrated his enthusiasm, knowledge and wit and gave a really engaging talk. He spent six weeks researching his ideas with Lynda Waterhouse as part of the Teen Outset group, funded by Mishcon de Reya.
The feedback from the public was amazing. It was gratifying to see his teachers and his proud father attend.
