    Victoria and Albert Museum

    On Wednesday 11th July Year 10 Art and Design students travelled to the Victoria and Albert Museum, the world's largest collection of decorative arts and design.

    The building is a beautiful example of Victorian Gothic but the modern extension is cleverly lit to highlight sculptures, paintings, fashion, textiles and priceless treasures from all over the world.

    The students were enthusiastic and inspired, producing several detailed drawings. They particularly loved this contemporary sculpture of Frida Kahlo's head.

    Their conduct in the searing heat was impeccable.
